The Polynesian Cultural Center has shared their reopening plans. Following our 4 month exclusive ticket package from January 18 – April 22, we are looking forward to returning to our full-day schedule of services and entertainment on April 24, 2021. Our operating hours will be from 11:45am – 9:30 pm. Monday – Tuesday and Thursday – Saturday (closed Sundays and Wednesdays plus Christmas and New Years Day). We will once again offer a variety of ticket packages, providing our guests with the options best suited to their interests.
Rest assured that your health and safety will remain our #1 priority, with expanded services, such as automated hand cleansing stations, physical distancing protection, clearly marked paths and an enhanced cleaning schedule. Additionally, masks will be required throughout the Center as long as state and national standards are in force.
Alii Luau, enhanced menu, new entertainment
Our Alii Luau will feature our new production of Onipaa, a musical presentation honoring Queen Liliuokalani, the last reigning royalty of Hawaii, who was a talented poet and song writer. More importantly, she was a beloved leader who inspired her people to be steadfast.
Our luau buffet will be serving their popular imu smoked pig, along with a number of traditional Polynesian dishes and American and Asian favorites inside a beautiful covered facility with tropical plants, calm lagoon and fragrant flowers.
Six distinct island village experiences
The Polynesian Cultural Center is far more than a great luau. Spend the afternoon exploring our Island Villages where you will enjoy six unique cultural experiences which include exhibits, presentations and hands-on activities. The Villages experience opens at 11:45a and remains open until 6:00p.
The powerful HA: Breath of Life evening show
Following the luau, you will take a leisurely walk to the Pacific Theater. This magnificent outdoor auditorium is where we present our award-winning evening show, HA: Breath of Life, filled with daring skills, dance, song, special effects, animation and surround sound. Recognized as the best live entertainment show on the island!

why are no tickets available for jan or feb 2022
Thank you for allowing us an opportunity to explain our current and future ticket sale situation. We are still affected by COVID-19 restrictions instigated by our state government affecting hours of operation, numbers of guests allowed in the Center per day, seating and mask restrictions, physical distancing practices throughout the Center, etc. We expect and hope that those restrictions will be lifted by January 2022, however, without confirmation, we cannot confirm what type of guest packages will be available. We will update our website as soon as we receive a confirmation of laws and policies from the State of Hawaii. First and foremost, the health and welfare of our guests and staff will always be our #1 priority Second, it would be difficult to sell tickets that may or may not have to be adjusted depending on decisions beyond our control. We look forward to a swift resolution and are ready to upload our future ticket packages as soon as we are given the go ahead.
